Into the Words
An abundance of words
spread beyond the pages.
My eyes motion back and forth
collecting imagery,
like a hungry lion assembles
their prey for food,
badgering at every piece one by one
savoring the details.
I live through multiple lives,
an infinite amount of findings.
Picturing what is to come next
before reading the words.
My gentle fingertips glide
across the sharp edge of the paper,
as I slowly turn the page
for a new set of words,
not knowing what is to come next
I excersize my mind.
