Listen

I have something to say

Don’t worry it’s not something bad

It’s not something sinister

But it’s been building up in me

Wanting to be let out, like a gyser ready to burst

So give me the chance and, listen.

Stop saying you understand, and listen

Turn off the radio in your mind, and listen

This is important to me, please listen

What am I, if you don’t listen.

My voice trembles, cause it’s rare, you’re listening

I’m vulenerable because you’ll see me when you listen

Please still love me, when you see me

It’s rare when I talk and you listen.
