Dahlias

Like a flower

plucked from a bed of dahlias

she was gone like the wind

or the dirt in the earth.

where once there was hope

pure unbridaled oppurtunity

there is now nothing

except a grave

It is not the first

nor it is the last

in the bed

of black dahlias
