They say that I am too young

Too young to write 

Too young to create 

Too young to matter 

In their eyes 

I am still a child 

And although 

Although it may feel like it sometimes 

I am old enough to know right from wrong 

And good from bad 

Old enough to know 

That some people are

too

far

gone 

They may not be able to see it 

But I do 

Because in every lie there is

truth 

In every death there is

life 

And in hatred there is

love 

They may not be able to see it 

But I do 

For in every unknown 

There is reason
