I’ve learned.

This year I've learned that love is real.

And it is so far from what I thought it was.

I've learned that it's not about changing yourself,

Or forcing another to change.

It's about accepting and allowing.

Allowing that other person to be just who they are.

Allowing and accepting them for all they are.

And in doing so,

Learning to do the same for myself.
