From Man to Animal

When the world was flat we built the great wall,

When the world was flat we build the great pyramids,

When the world was still flat we followed prophets and crossed the Mediterranean on foot,

When the world was flat we were one race,

When the world was flat we were brothers!

But when the world became round we started the first great war,

When the world became round we forged another war, the second world war,

When the world became round we created racism

When the world became round we created Nazism

When the world became round Africa was raided and rounded up,

When the world became round slavery became an honest trade,

When the world became roumd Apartheid was legal and a law unto fellow man,

When the world became round we were no longer brothers,

We pointed fingers and ran to our little hideouts and made nuclear arsenal,

And made pacts under the guise of peace and freedom.

Should the world perhaps be as it was, flat?
