If we had more time

I’d want nothing more than to talk,

to listen to you, feel your warm,

comforting gaze on me.

Our hearts intertwined,

laced tightly together,

unwilling to let go.

Another chance, an opportunity

to live another life.

You’d tell me

about your day, I’d tell you

about mine. I long for those

moments that we never had.
