Trapped in this cage of perpetual sorrow

Forever dreading the woes of tomorrow

I'm afraid of the truth

That you can never fully understand

The anguish I feel over never knowing

Just exactly where we fall

And the possible misunderstanding

Not that I think you dont love me

Just that you dont fully know that it goes to the depths of my soul

That looking into your eyes is what truly makes me whole.

Because that is our curse for being human;

Living in the isolation of our own minds.
