Wisdom VS Wit

Scrolling through the challenges, a title caught my eye.

“Such Wisdom” it read -how simple!- so I decided to have a try.

Wisdom is a fickle thing: experienced and knowing,

It would appear that MY wisdom is barely ever showing.

Try as I might, I couldn’t concoct an idea worth writing down;

Nothing seemed to be in my head- WISDOM HAS JUST LEFT TOWN!

And in its place, Wit took hold and decided what to write,

My poor tired mind... I couldn’t even try to fight.

So here’s my submission, and I swear my Wit never lies,

With clear instruction, I dare to say: “Something apparently wise!”
