I was Blind

Oh how blind I was to your soul.

What I thought was deep in you was merely the reflection of what I wanted to see.

Oh how i was wrong to what lay beneath.

As I dived into your unknown waters, I realized how blind I was to your true deep waters.

How wrong of me it was to disturb your calm still waters.

What had I done!?

To disturb me such beautiful still waters.

I become lost and confused as I drowned in my own guilt and dismay

But what was this? I felt something touch my leg.

It was you! Despite me foolishly sending ripples on your surface and disturbing what truly lay beneath.

Even then you forgave me and drowned me with love.
