The Kids Aren’t Alright

Is it the end of the world as we know it?

We're scared for our lives but don't show it.

Climate change, things getting strange

from the Wicked West here to the Beast of the East

Russia, North Korea, I see ya!

Are guns worth more than daughters and sons?

Will we become strays if we come out as gay?

Are kids supposed to be in cages?

Do politicians on our same pages?

Not again. Stop. Enough.

They said I have it easy but it's tough.

Choking on smoke and eating plastic stuff

has made the Earth's voice go rough.

So now we're its voice... but we're dying too, huh?
