Challenge
Write a story from the perspective of an old lady whose cat just died... but don't mention the cat.
I may have stolen this from a book...
You aren't allowed to mention the cat, or any thing/animal dying. A extra challenge is if someone reads it and has no idea about the challenge, it makes perfect sense.

I sit, and shuffle the deck of cards. Maybe I can win at solitaire this time. Looking at my smiling, whiskered cookie jar, I think about the grandkids coming later, and who the jar reminds me of, and how I wish I had a shovel.
