A Phenomenon

Love, what is it?

Is it the ever-flowing words that you utter?

Is it laughter?

Is it your nightmares that haunt you at night?

Or is it the stars that burn your eyes,

reminding you,

to find the answer?

Is it her?

The one you think about so earnestly?

Or is it him?

The one that made you wish for a happy ending?

I know about loss,

I know little about love.

But to love is to gain a new beginning

and to lose is to forfeit a bad one.

So,

when all is said and done,

and loved and lost

remember;

When the world fades nothing matters anymore,

you should look to the sky,

and remember,

the stars will always love you.

For you are a cosmic wonder.
