Hubris

The biggest problem my eyes can see

Is that I think I, alone, can fix it, me

I know, I'm sure, most certainly

Things would be better, if only

He would do that and she this

If I were in charge, I got my wish,

But, could it be?

Ego and vanity

Lack of humanity

That I just might NOT know it all

Maybe it's good that it's not my call

Perhaps a listener is needed most to assess

Determine need, then humbly address

So that one is not more important than another

Maybe then we'll have community, love each other

Work together to fix and praise

Value good and growth always
