Till the end

‘Come with me and be my love’

Kit Marlowe once did say

and many a lovelorn poet

have begged a lover the same.

So, too, did you once take my hand

along with it my heart

you looked into my eyes with love

and said we’ll never part.

And thus it came to pass, my love

a lifetime together we spend

through all the joy and sorrow

I’m with you till the end.
