Fuel

It’s the trials.

The long, grueling nights.

The pain.

The agony.

The doubt.

The fear.

Like dead wood.

Fueling.

Burning.

But it’s those same things, I think, that push me to shine brighter.

Because maybe, the wood isn’t bein added to burn.

Maybe it’s being added to fuel.
