Generation Z

Far away in a distant land.

No screens were present,

and parents had no phone in hand.

Something happened, a turn of events.

Little ones much like you

pots and pans turned to rock bands.

Dirty feet wasn’t just you, no it was

momma and daddy too.

Dinner was ate fresh, everyone bowed their heads.

At night by one small light

momma would read a story before goodnight.
