Scenario: You’ve been stuck behind an obnoxious customer in line, trying to get a coffee. She’s been rude to the barista, slinging the worst of insults at her, and abrasive with you. After she orders, she slams her hands down on the countertop and then storms off, announcing she’s never coming back again.
She left her wallet behind.
What do you do?

I smile, feeling the Gucci imprinted leather against my palm.
I walk towards the barista, and wink. "I think she left this for you."
The barista blushes, and slowly feels the pattern. "Thank you." She says, still embarrassed.
"No problem. She deserved it." I took one last look around the small café, smiled at the girl again, and walked out the door with a new attitude. Thank you, obnoxious brat, for brightening my day.
