In the path that leads to you, the stars are dying.

There are stars beneath her feet,

that move

as she dances through the night,

through the day

as she carves constellations on the

earth

and sprinkles stardust on the hidden seeds

that sleep with their souls closed

and now,

spring is in bloom

and I am here,

dancing with her,

stamping stars on the earth

a smile gracing our features

our heart skipping

and our hands connected over

the distance that time has created

as our souls sing,

calling out

my name and hers.

and you,

you are watching me from the shadows

leaving a hollow abyss (dead stars)

where you walk and try to dance

you are screaming out my name

your voice getting lost in between

the seasons of our spring

and your cold summer

as she and I move through the day and night,

dancing along year along leaving

the echoes of the past for you,

constellations for the future, and

love for the present, for me and her.
