I fear the creaking in the night

From the boards within the walls

My anxiety screams to run

But there’s nowhere I can hide

Wherever I go

The creaking follows me so

The thundering grows louder

As my feet hit the floor

It chases me until i can’t run

Then suddenly it stops

The creaking is no more
