It offered the gift to choose my own destiny.
So I can impact the world in glamorous ways.

My future is shown clear as day.
I’t shines because of my forefathers.
I’t thrives like flowers in rich soil.

Chains no longer bind my soul.
My scars heal from head to toe.
I sing with joy without persecution.
I’m on the platform of freedom.
It’s finally here to comfort me.
The breadth of life fills my cavity.
I’m able to live another day.
