Black Cat’s Fortune

How strange it seems to me

To fear such a sweet natured creature

Just by the midnight hue of its fur

To think a cuddly, fluffy kitty,

Who wishes nothing more than to be loved,

Could bring misfortune upon anyone

If anything, cats have brightened my days

Filling them with joy and laughter,

Making them not so gray

All of it would be the same,

Even with a black cat

The supposed bringer of bad luck

Well, if that's the case, feel free

To invite misfortune upon me
