That filed down
and broken
boomerang
that hangs
like a scythe
in the night
will one day
sweep us up
from this
dismal life...
of dirt & skein
...then shall we
begin recounting
our wool
gathering?
from the eye
at the gates
where they're sure
to let us in
...as donkeys
with all our
materialism.
