There are words that are both nouns and verbs. Among these are keep, kick, kiss, knit, knock and knot. Write a 6 line story that uses 3 of these words as nouns and the other 3 as verbs. Prose or poem format. $3 prize
first date jitters
The knot in my stomach is tied too tight.
I kick myself in the shin to alleviate my nerves.
A kiss from you is on the horizon.
Knocks on the door intensify my heart.
But in your presecnce, I keep calm.
Soon, our hands will be tightly knit.
