I guess it’s true that God works
In ways we cannot know.
And yet I long to have you here
And hold you in my arms;
My reality’s been broken,
I’ve been cut with all the shards.
And everytime I hear a laugh
I have to stop and stare,
Waiting for you to reappear
With flowers in your hair.
