Awakenings

What awakens my sense of loneliness,

That humbles me so?

Draws me nearer the lost and sorrowful,

Yet brings me closer within myself.

Where is the passageway from loneliness,

To friendliness and happiness?

What will fill the gaps between the sadness,

And finding true contentment?

Many await the awakening from loneliness,

And sorrow, to bridge the gap to happiness.

Strengthen the road to contentment,

Where they can dwell in awakenings of self.
