New Beginnings

Love and war mark new beginnings,

Though we may not want these changes,

They cannot always be controlled.

Love changes a person,

For the better,

For the worst.

War also does this,

Changes a people,

Just look around.

Both can cause pain,

Both can end in death,

But both mark new beginnings.
