It’s Worth It

We speak our minds

We fight

We ignore each other

And neither side knows why

We can’t communicate

We don’t know where to turn

The world starts to fall apart

As it often does

When we need answers

That no one has

And in it all,

Some can find beauty

Some can find happiness

Some choose

To not let it all

Ruin their lives

We find out who loves us

We find out who we’ve overlooked

We find out who we are

In the end,

We are all closer

We may struggle

But it was all worth it
