Past..
It always haunts me.
no matter how many years go by ..
It stops me on my tracks-
The memories of what had been,
The hopes of what might have been.
I try to shut the door on the past,
All is safe ..
Then..
A soft knock...
It goes ignored,I.am stronger than i use to be..
I hear it louder now..persistent..
It won't stop..
