Music

Music is the only way to get heard. To get a message across in a way people can understand. A way you can hear. The emotion that is heard in a voice or an instrument is something you cannot fake. It is either there or not. I listen to a lot of music and have my favorites and least favorites. However, I am very picky when it comes to my favorites.

I can tell you right now, I am not a huge fan of todays top artist. I feel the emotion behind music is lost. Music was meant to be something used to express emotion. Music has lost that key. People dont listen to words anymore, just the sound. That hurts me. As someone who sings, writes, and plays music, it hurts. It hurts that today no one cares for the words of a song, just the background "beat." Quick note to "beat" people.....EVERYTHING HAS A BEAT.

My favorite singer right now is Brian Fennell (SYML). He sings with emotion from his heart, not what society wants to hear. My favorite song of his is "Where's my love" because it is a story. Music is a story.

Music is emotion

Music is a story

Music is this sense of freedom

I love being able to listen to the words of a song and feel what they feel. To feel the words from their voice come to life and see their life unfold. To be able to cast that picture into someone elses head with sounds is music.

Music is more than just sound. It is a voice that wants to just be heard. A voice that is begging you to listen. Music is everything to me.
