Losing things

is a part of life,

and I've grown

accustomed

to being the one

of a force stretched

beyond my grasp.

before it ever

said farewell,

to miss you

I've grown accustomed

to my heart's

missing pieces,

but one doesn't

heal so quickly

if what was once full

is now beyond repair.

worth more

than anything

that could be replaced;

I have known no loss

so daunting

as the thought of
