Heavens Reject

Oh child,

Sweet in face

Staring into

Glory’s gaze

You got the looks

But not his grace

The keenest eye

But not the pace

Competing love

You run the race

Coming short while

Brother’s praised

You kick your feet

Defiance raised

After time your

Heart is braised

A growing boy

You feel displaced

Wronger more

In your workplace

Acceptance needed

But efforts waste

Each mistake

A choking fraise

Around your neck

To show your ways

Every try

For embrace

Is dulled out

By brighter rays

You feel unpolished

Missing glaze

Orders followed

For angels lace

You try hard

And they say debased

Emotions in you

Set ablaze

Lashing out

In malaise

You tell them no

Refuse, amaze

They strip you down

In heavens haze

You’re pushed out

With blessed phrase

Tumbling down

Thorough outer space

Dirty, beaten,

And disgraced

A child again

Time retraced

Looking up

A desperate case

You hit the Earth

Cracked and crazed

Alone, wanting

And quickly replaced

A devil they made

In Lucifer’s place

Gather yourself

Sweet child and raise

Standing again

That is your place
