Blank Stares

I sit there, staring at nothing.

"What am I doing?"

My head feels heavy and it feels like my brain has static.

"Nothing."

I don't move, I don't speak, I don't think, I only breathe. There is only stillness.

Loved ones talk to me, but I hear nothing, completely zoned out to the outside.

"Why am I like this?"

When I try to move, it's only small, nothing significant. Nothing visible.

I'll wait until this passes...
