Run

Run. That's the only thought in my mind.

Run as fast as I can. To get away from this hellhole of my life.

To leave and make it the past not the present.

My breathing labors, I can't take much more of

this running with so much weight on my back.

With so much baggage and it can't be released.

I can't take much more of it. I want to be free.

Free from my present, free from all this baggage.

I can't be free with them still here.

Them. The ones who should care.

The ones who made me like this.

The ones who are completely oblivious

Still living happy lives knowing the truth.

Knowing how I feel with all of it.

So I leave, run to the sky with a new life in hand.

Leave to something better and filled with hope.

Hope. One word, many meanings

So today I leave and make my present a past.
