Gargoyles!

In the late hour...

Seated high on a tower...

Is a creature of the night..

Ready to give a nasty fright..

One being moves in the dark,

Walks past the park~

The monster hears the heart beat, his favorite part.

Wings not too far sway-

They head towards the human’s way....

In one swing~

Of the gargoyle’s wing...

The human is taken,

It’s body shaken.

The Sun rises....

Gargoyle goes back to sleep....

In a pile of dead bones-

Not just a pack, but~a heap.
