void

as it rotates around you

the galaxy isn't far from us

though we are apart

like the moon

is distant

from the Earths closeness

not together

but not apart

the energy and the magnitude

working its power

to the gravity of its sphere

that causes the waves

and gives a light

that brakes the darkness in half

the earth responds

with a quake and a shiver

they are stronger together

they shine for each other

the stars

the moon

the earth beneath my feet
