Media Musings on “Marijuana”

Why do they call it that?

They don't call her sisters "blow" or "smack" or "ice," and yet they say "marijuana." No one else gets a slang term except her.

Not cannabis...marijuana

Do they do it to discredit? To continue the Reefer Madness?

She deserves respect. She deserves a proper name.

So call her what she is: cannabis.
