fear

fear.

being scared.

it’s all a hypothetical construct

afraid isn’t a thing for me,

except in one case

sure, I feel nervous

but nothing makes me quake

like the thought

that with one wrong move

I could fail

the game of life

I could slip up

and lose it all

see harsh faces laughing

blinding rays of sun

scorching my eyeballs

while I lay on the floor,

looking up

and so fear

isn’t an option most times

so broken

maybe this is one thing I

can

do right.
