If I walked around the world

With my eyes closed and my ears shut

And a warm sheet over my head

Everything would still exist

Even if I tried to block it out

With that being said

I can no longer pretend or be gullible

And I must stop insisting that the world is a vibrant place that is big and open

It is dark

Things are blue

And it is closed

But me

I am vibrant

Multi colored

And working on being open

I am not the world and the world could never be me
