Is Anybody Out There?

If so, Can you hear me?

Do you see me?

Will you stay just a while?

and hear the air I breathe in colliding against the lining in my lungs.

Beating, beating, beating its way out. exhale.

I only want the air to stay just a little while.

I want to stay full.

So I breathe in so hard into this empty empty soul and I lock it away.

Until I suffocate.
