In coffee mug

While hawking up

Phlegm built up

In pickled lungs

I pour clog solution

In and wait for

His last gulp, breath

Free passage, clog

Dissipated

And, as he lay

Mug shattered

Truth spilled

I spin a story

To shout to my girl
