love is like a tarp
when you first find yourself beneath its protection
the shade keeps you from burning
but the longer you stay the more you realize how it isn't all it's cracked up to be
the sun moves, and the UV bites at your skin
rain falls, and the thin material does nothing to protect you
love isn't someting permanent,
or even something solid
it's a cheap piece of polyethelyne
with no real protection from the outsie world
