The flame flickers at the end of his cigarette

The memories of last night make his eyes become wet

It seems all that he feels lately is anger and sorrow

It becomes increasingly difficult to look towards tomorrow

He knows life isn't meant to be carefree and easy

Positive thoughts are looked at as cheesy

Wondering why he can't catch a break

Expectations of others was his big mistake

He lets out his anger on all who will listen

Into the wind, he finds himself pissin

The cards stacked against him, but he is the dealer

He alone must fix things, he alone is the healer
