What Can You Do?

What can you do when an eternal self hate swarms in you?

Do you sit and wait

and wait

and wait?

What can you do when an innocence is torn from you

like a petal from a flower?

Do you let the rest of your petals furl up

and die?

What can you do when love

is as painful as a ripped tendon?

Do you let the pain continue

and not treat it?

No.

You keep on striving for tomorrow.

You sate the bees with the smoke of self love.

You keep growing despite the loss of that petal.

You let yourself free of that pain and heal yourself.

You yourself can change it.

You can change your hair

your mentality.

One thing you can't change

is your soul.
