Isolation and Seclusion
I'll boldly go into the dark.
No longer afraid of the unknown which haunted my thoughts yesterday.
The fear that gripped my throat and strangled me until I almost died is no longer a foe.
I no longer use just my eyes to see in the dark.
I can taste it, hear it, and feel the endless shadows as they try to seduce me and defeat me.
They pull at me, but I pull back at them.
I can see the empty eyes of darkness and smell the stench of its hollow abyss.
The darkness fears me now for I can defeat the unknown.
