Bruises

Her ass has grown wide

     from steroids and sitting.

Purple bruises knitting 

     across her arms 

          bring to mind her youth 

          & sweet, summer, berry juice.

But these marks won't wash away

     with floating soap

          in tin tub 

               at end of day.
