Broken Heart

Love has damaged me and I don't know if I can put back the broken fragments of my heart. The delicate organ shattered to pieces the moment he walked out the door and slammed it behind him without a second glance. The tears had freely rolled down my cheeks, making the skin sticky and wet. But all I could focus on was my broken heart.
