Are Roses Red

Roses are red

Violets are blue

That is their color

That is their hue

Sunflowers are yellow

Peonies are pink

That's what I've been told

So that's how I think

I know flower petals

Are nature's soft silk

And that honey bees flit

And float to its milk

I know how they smell

Each unique in their scent

I know that they wilt

Leaves crisp and stems bent

Yes, roses are red

But please keep in mind

That color means nothing To a man that is blind
