It’s okay

If I need you, how will I know you will be there?

I don't feel like I have that right.

I'm always surrounded, yet I stand alone,

Is this my fault ? 

Why do I always have to spell it out, 

Why can't some one, or any one just notice.

I can see everyone else's pain,

And I try to take it away.

Maybe that's the trade off, I can take their pain away,

But it becomes my own to bare.

Cursed. Alone. and Afraid.... but 

I wouldn't change it, if it means you get to smile.
