He woke

Looked around

The meadow stared back

Butterflies; leaves, sunlight filtering through

The breeze gently ruffled the boy's fringe as it passed through

Almost..like...

He rose

Memories hazy, vision clear

Her image got clearer as the time passed squatting, hand in stream

Then; pain. It represented Mother all along
